Every journey starts with a single step. Ours began with thousands, taken over decades of hands-on care by Gentry Dunlop, MD.

Dr. Dunlop spent over 30 years treating patients with pain, seizures, and anxiety. He saw firsthand how traditional medications often did more harm than good, causing harsh side effects, ER visits, and even hospital stays. As the opioid crisis grew, so did his patients’ fear of addiction. He knew there had to be a better way.

That’s when he started looking more closely at medical marijuana. Compared to many conventional drugs, cannabis was not only gentler—it was often more effective. But while practicing, he couldn’t offer it as an option. So, when he retired, Dr. Dunlop made it his mission to change that.

KindHealth was born from that mission: to provide safe, legal access to medical cannabis for those in need. Compassionate care, backed by decades of medical experience—that’s what we’re all about.
