KindHealth is committed to making this website usable by everyone — including people with disabilities — in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
This website has been independently tested and conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the technical standard widely used to meet ADA accessibility expectations.
Our commitment
KindHealth — Florida Marijuana Doctors — believes everyone deserves equal access to information about medical marijuana evaluations and care. We are committed to digital accessibility for people with disabilities, and we continually improve the experience for all visitors, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard or voice navigation.
Conformance status
This website is fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Fully conformant means the content fully meets the standard without any known exceptions. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the benchmark commonly used in the United States to meet the accessibility expectations of the ADA.
Our most recent independent audit (June 2026) tested representative page templates across the site using assistive technologies on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS, and recorded zero outstanding accessibility barriers. We continue to monitor the site and re-test as content and features change, so that this standard is maintained over time.
How we make this site accessible
Keyboard navigation
All features are operable with a keyboard alone, with a logical tab order and a clearly visible focus indicator.
WCAG 2.1.1 · 2.4.7
Text alternatives
Informative images carry meaningful alt text; decorative images use empty alt so screen readers can skip them.
WCAG 1.1.1
Colour & contrast
Text and interface elements are checked to meet minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for large text and UI).
WCAG 1.4.3 · 1.4.11
Responsive & reflow
Content adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop, with no horizontal scrolling required down to 320px width.
WCAG 1.4.10
Resizable text
Text can be enlarged to 200% (and beyond) without loss of content or functionality.
WCAG 1.4.4
Semantic structure
Proper heading order, landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer) and ARIA only where native HTML isn’t enough.
WCAG 1.3.1
Accessible tables
Data tables use proper header cells, scope and captions so screen readers can interpret rows and columns.
WCAG 1.3.1
A “Skip to main content” link is among the first focusable elements, letting keyboard users bypass navigation.
WCAG 2.4.1
Visible focus
Interactive elements show a clear focus outline, so keyboard users always know where they are on the page.
WCAG 2.4.7 · 2.4.11
Motion & animation
Moving content can be paused, and the site respects the operating-system “reduce motion” preference.
WCAG 2.2.2

How we test
Accessibility is verified through a combination of automated tooling and manual testing by an accessibility specialist, because automated tools alone catch only part of the picture. Our testing includes:
- JAWS and NVDA screen readers (Windows)
- VoiceOver (iOS / macOS)
- TalkBack (Android)
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Browser zoom & reflow to 200%+
- Colour Contrast Analyser
- Deque axe
- WAVE by WebAIM
- Google Lighthouse
Known limitations
As of our most recent audit (June 2026), we are not aware of any outstanding WCAG 2.2 Level AA barriers on the pages tested. Accessibility, however, is an ongoing effort:
- When we publish new content or add new features, these are tested and remediated as part of our regular review, so accessibility is maintained as the site grows.
- A small number of components rely on third-party services (for example, embedded maps and social media widgets). We test these too, and where a third party limits what we can control, we provide an accessible alternative such as a text address or direct contact details.
If you encounter a barrier that isn’t listed here, please tell us using the details below — your feedback helps us maintain this standard.

Assessment approach
The accessibility of this website was assessed through self-evaluation and expert review by Anblik, an accessibility consultancy, using the combination of manual screen-reader, keyboard, zoom and colour-contrast testing together with the automated tools listed above, against WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA. The most recent review confirmed that all barriers identified in earlier testing have been remediated, with no outstanding issues remaining.
