YES. In Florida, Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers (MMTCs) are required to have a medical director. While the KindHealth clinic is not an MMTC, KindHealth does have a Medical Director. They hold an active, unrestricted license as a physician under Chapter 458, Florida Statutes. The role of the medical director is crucial in overseeing the clinical aspects of recommending cannabis. For this, they have completed the Florida continuing education course and examination.
